They say old writers never die, they’re just at a loss for words. I don’t know if all that’s true. I do know that after nearly 20 years of writing columns for Runner’s World Magazine and Competitor Magazine, the words were harder to come by. Now, as I stand on the precipice of turning 70 I find that there is still more that I want to say.
Some thoughts will be about running, walking, and cycling. Other’s will be about being out on the road or trails. Still others will be just stuff that is either bringing me joy or irritating the heck out of me. This will be an intermittent exercise based mostly on whatever is rattling around my brain on any given day, week, or month.
