Week-9Where to we go from here? It seems like that’s always the question. I’ve been doing so well so far. I haven’t failed. And yet there’s this voice that keeps telling me that I’m going to fail eventually, so why not get it over with.

I’m not sure where they voice comes from. I’m not sure whose voice it actually is. I just know that it’s there and that I have to fight it every day.

Day 57. 30 minutes walking on treadmill. 15 minutes on bike trainer. Tried mixing it up a little today. Hoping that helps with the motivation.

Day 58: 45 minutes walking on treadmill. 15 minutes on bike trainer. An honest 1 hour workout today. Little by little I’m increasing my time.

Day 59: 45 minutes walking on treadmill. Funny day. Got busy in the morning and had to sneak in the walk this afternoon.

Day 60: 45 minutes walking on the treadmill. Feel like I’m really just putting in the motion this week.

Day 61. 45 minutes walking on treadmill. 10 minutes on bike trainer. It is easier to keep track of what day it is in a leap year.

Day 62: In Boise to speak at Shu’s Idaho Running Company tomorrow [Thursday] night. Had a lovely 50 minute walk along the Greenbelt this afternoon.

Day 63: Another 50 minutes of walking in Boise. This time, I wandered around the downtown area.

Day 66: 30 minutes walking on treadmill. 20 minutes on bike trainer. Short term goal is to get to 30/30 walk/trainer.

Day 67: One hour walk on treadmill. If the weather’s nice, I may walk thePenguin in the Park 5K on March 19.

Day 68: 20 minutes on bike trainer. 1 hour walk on treadmill. This was the longest workout of the year for me. Somehow I got inspired.

Day 69: 30 minutes on treadmill. Very busy day. 30 minutes was all I could squeeze in.
Day 70: 25 minutes walking on treadmill. 20 minutes on bike trainer. Stepped up the effort level on the trainer. Felt OK, but need to be careful.
